pumptrade in a minute
PUMP, long or short, at up to 1000×. You trade against the house, and the house is nothing but the losses of other traders.
You put USDC into your account, pick a side, a margin and a leverage, and click. Your position opens at the live PUMP price and shows its bust price before you confirm. Close whenever you want: your margin comes back, a profit is paid by the house, a loss goes to the house. A loss also earns you points, and points earn you half of every fee the exchange collects, in USDC, for as long as pumptrade runs.
Everything that matters is on Solana: your balance, your positions, the house, the line of winners waiting to be paid, your points. The site shows you the chain and builds the transactions you sign. Nothing is held for you anywhere else.
Your first trade
You need a Solana wallet in your browser, some USDC, and a little SOL for network fees.
- ConnectPick your wallet from the list. Nothing to sign.
- DepositType an amount from $1 and sign. The USDC moves into the exchange vault and your balance shows it a few seconds later. The first deposit also creates your account on the program; that costs about 0.0014 SOL once.
- Trading keyThe ticket now asks for the trading key. Sign once. The key lives in your browser, is good for 30 days, and gets 0.05 SOL for fees. It can open and close positions and nothing else.
- TradeLong or short, a margin, a leverage. The ticket shows the order value and the bust price. Click, and the position is open at the live price.
- CloseOne click on the position card. Margin back, profit paid or queued, loss to the house.
The ticket
The ticket has three choices and shows you two results before you click.
A position is a fixed thing. Once it is open you cannot add margin, take margin out, or change the leverage. To add size, open another position. To take risk off, close and reopen smaller. This is what keeps the bust price you saw on the ticket the bust price you get.
Your account equity sits above the ticket: available balance, margin in open positions, open profit or loss, and anything queued in the payout line.
The price
pumptrade has one price at a time, and it is the same for everyone. A keeper watches PUMP on Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Bybit, KuCoin, Bitget, Kraken and Gate. It keeps the sources whose quotes are tight and fresh, drops any that disagree with the rest, and takes the median. While at least one position is open, it writes that price to the program about once a second. One write may move the price by at most 2%, so a bad tick is walked in steps instead of landing at once.
Fills use the last written price. Opening, and closing at a profit, need a price younger than about 10 seconds. Closing at a loss works on the last price whatever its age, so a pause in the feed never traps you in a position.
There is a second price, the mark, used only for busts. It moves an eighth of the way towards the live price on every write, which takes it about 3 seconds to catch up. A bust needs both prices past your bust level. One stray tick cannot take you out.
While nobody has a position open, nothing is written to the chain and the keeper spends nothing. The site still shows the live price, so the chart keeps moving. The Status page shows the feed: the last writes, their age, and whether the market is quiet.
Closing a position
You won
Your margin comes back first, always. The gain is the price move times your order value, measured 0.002% less favourable than the raw move; a win smaller than that pays nothing. 2% of what remains is the exchange's fee. The rest is paid from the house right away when the house has it. When it does not, the unpaid part waits in the payout line (below) and is paid as new losses arrive.
You lost
The loss is the price move times your order value, never more than your margin. It goes to the house. 2% of it goes to fees, taken from the house's side, not from you: a $100 loss costs you $100. While winners are waiting in the payout line, that fee is skipped and the whole loss goes to them. The loss earns you points.
Two timing rules
No profit can be taken in the first 3 seconds of a position, and never in the same slot it was opened. Prices update every second; without this a bot could open on a stale price and close on the fresh one. Closing at a loss is allowed at once.
Bust
Every position has a bust price, shown before you open it. If the price gets there, the position is closed by a keeper and the whole margin goes to the house. That is true even if a manual close a moment earlier would have returned part of it.
The bust price sits 0.05% of the price before the point where your margin would be exactly gone. That gap is what keeps the house from ever paying out more than a position put in. Because it is a fixed gap in price, it is a larger share of your margin the higher the leverage.
A bust needs both the live price and the mark past the bust level. A single bad tick in the live price cannot do it, because the mark has not followed; a lagging mark cannot do it either, because the live price has to agree. The position card shows the mark and a risk bar that fills as the mark approaches the bust.
A bust is a loss like any other for points: the full margin counts.
The house and the payout line
The house is the USDC that losing trades left behind. It started at $0 and nobody can put money in or take money out; it changes only through trades and the fees above. Wins are paid from it, losses flow into it.
When a win is bigger than what the house holds, the unpaid part goes into the payout line. The line is first in, first paid. Every new loss pays the front of the line before anything else. Nothing in the line is cut and nothing expires: you get the full amount, later. Your account shows it as queued until it lands in your balance. Your margin is never part of the line; it comes back the moment you close.
Two limits keep the line short, and both grow as the house grows:
An open that would push a side past its cap is refused with "This side is at its cap". Wait for someone to close, or trade the other side. The Stats page shows the house, the line and the limits live.
Points
Points are the second half of every loss. Each dollar you lose earns points, and points earn USDC from fees for as long as you hold them. There is nothing to stake and nothing to lock.
Earning
The rate starts at 100 points per $1 lost and falls in a straight line as the supply of 1,000,000,000 points fills: at half the supply a dollar earns 50 points, at 90% it earns 10. The cap is approached, never reached. The current rate is on the Points page.
Points follow your net result over a rolling 24 hours. A loss earns points only for the part that takes your 24-hour result below its previous low; a win has to be given back first. A long and a short of the same size earn nothing beyond the fees they lose. A trader who only loses earns on every dollar.
Getting paid
Half of every fee goes into a pot. Every 10 minutes the pot is split across all points: your share is your points divided by all points at that moment. It shows up under Claimable rewards on the Points page and keeps adding up until you claim it. Claiming is one signature and moves the USDC to your trading balance. Your points stay where they are and earn again next round.
Deposits and withdrawals
In
- USDC on Solana, from the wallet you connected. Minimum $1.
- Credited as soon as the transaction confirms, a few seconds.
- The first deposit creates your account on the program, about 0.0014 SOL of rent from your wallet, once.
Out
- Any time, up to your available balance, from $0.01. Margin in open positions and profit waiting in the line become available when the position closes or the line pays.
- Only your wallet can sign a withdrawal. The trading key cannot.
- The USDC goes to the wallet you connected. The network fee is about 0.000005 SOL.
The trading key
At 1000× a wallet popup for every click is too slow. So the app makes a second key in your browser and your wallet approves it once. From then on opening and closing is one click: the key signs, no popup.
If someone got hold of the key, the most they could do is trade with your balance and lose it. They could not move a cent out. Revoke the key any time on the Portfolio page; the SOL it holds comes back to your wallet. Setting it up again is one signature.
What can go wrong
The price
The price is a median of eight exchanges. Moving it means moving PUMP on several of them at once. The deadband on wins, the 3-second hold on profits, the 2% step bound per write and the two-price rule for busts all exist so that one wrong tick pays nobody and busts nobody.
The house
The house has no capital behind it. A run of wins empties it and the payout line grows; the next losses fill it again. The side caps and the hourly limit bound how fast that can happen.
The keepers
pumptrade runs the price keeper and the bust keeper. If the price keeper stops, opens and profitable closes stop with it until it is back; closing at a loss keeps working, so nobody is stuck. If the bust keeper stops, positions past their bust level are closed when it is back; a loss is never more than the margin either way.
The keys
- The admin key sets fees, caps and limits, lists markets, changes the keeper key and withdraws the exchange's half of the fees. It cannot touch a balance, a position or the house.
- The keeper key writes prices and can pause new positions. Closes and busts keep working during a pause.
The program address is on the Points page. Everything above lives in it.
Questions
Who takes the other side of my trade?
The house. It is the losses of other traders, kept in the program's vault. Your win is paid from it; your loss goes into it.
Why did my profit show as queued?
The house could not pay all of it at that moment. The rest is in the payout line and is paid into your balance as new losses arrive, first in, first paid. It is the full amount, just later.
Can I close part of a position?
No. A position closes in full. Open two smaller positions if you want to scale out.
Why can't I take profit right after opening?
Profits are locked for the first 3 seconds, so nobody can open on a stale price and close on the fresh one. Losses can be closed at once.
What does "This side is at its cap" mean?
Open positions on that side have reached the cap. It lifts when positions close, or as the house grows. The other side is open.
Does the trading key put my money at risk?
It can only open and close positions. It cannot withdraw, deposit or claim. Revoke it on the Portfolio page whenever you want.
Is anything kept off the chain?
No money is. The server indexes the chain for the site and builds the transactions you sign. Your username, if you set one, is stored by the server.
How much SOL do I need?
About 0.0014 SOL for your account on the first deposit, 0.05 SOL that goes to the trading key for fees and position rent, and about 0.000005 SOL per deposit or withdrawal.
